    Introduction

    Purpose of this document

    This document is providing a step by step guide for the installation and configuration of SEO Boost. If you have any questions, please contact us through our contact form.

    Who is this module for ?

    This module can be used by freelancer, web agencies that have knowledge in SEO. We recommend to know about co-occurrences before starting.

    Module description

    SEO Boost helps you to optimize your ranking in the search engine page result (SERP) by providing a set of dedicated tools and features.

    Requirements

    SEO Boost requires the following prestashop versions to work :

    • 1.6.x.x
    • 1.7.x.x

    SEO Boost should work on any platform supported by Prestashop. If you need support for an older version, please consider an upgrade or contact us.

    Installation

    {info} Be sure to have a zip file of the module into your download folder before starting. If not, download it The installation is standard and straight forward.

    Prestashop 1.6

    1. In the left menu, click on Modules and services
    2. Click on Add a new module
    3. Click on browse, select the zip file and click on upload the module
    4. Once installed, a SEO Boost link is added on the left menu

    Prestashop 1.7

    1. In the left menu, click on Modules and services
    2. Click on Install a module
    3. Either drag & drop or click on browse, select the zip file and click on upload the module
    4. Once installed, a SEO Boost link is added on the left menu

    Activation

    {primary} To take advantage of all the powerfull features of SEO Boost, you need to have a premium account. When purchased through the Prestahop Marketplace, you will be given a discount coupon, that will grant you a free month for your license purchase.

    The coupon is located in the documentation that can be downloaded in your prestashop account.

    We provide two types of subscription, monthly and yearly. Each subscription is recurring and can be managed in your personnal account.

    Here are the steps to subscribe to a premium license :

    1. Register to a new account or login to your existing account
    2. Head to the subscription panel
    3. Choose your preferred recurrence of payment (monthly or yearly)
    4. (optional) If you purchased the module on the Prestahop Marketplace, type in your code in the voucher code field
    5. Once subscribed, your activation code will be visible in your account dashboard
    6. Copy the code by clicking on it, and paste inside the licence field, in Prestashop module SEO Boost’s control panel

    Set your websites

    {info} You need to link your website(s) from the account dashboard. You can use your licence with 3 websites maximum If you need more contact us

    Click on Manage your shops directly from the dashboard or from the left menu Shops Add your website domain address, if the website is using SSL click on the checkbox “this website is using SSL”. Finally click on save.
